Tax on vacant apartments... Al-Zouhairi: No to forcing owners to rent out their property under tax pressure

CH23: Andira Al-Zouhairi, president of the Lebanese Real Estate Authority, commented on the proposal to impose a tax on vacant apartments and said in a statement that “imposing additional financial burdens on owners merely because they retain their properties is unfair to them, especially after years of legal disputes and the hefty costs of recovering…”
